Gopi Rangan is the founding partner at Sure Ventures, a Silicon Valley based venture capital firm investing with a mission to enable peace of mind. His investment themes are focused on digital transformation of businesses in the areas of insurance, internet of things, aging, enterprise software, mental health and fintech. He is also the host of The Sure Shot Entrepreneur podcast and a faculty at the Department of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD. In 2016, he co-founded INSEAD Angels in the Silicon Valley, an angel investors network for INSEAD alumni to support visionary entrepreneurs. Previously, he was a Managing Director at USAA’s $350 million corporate venture division and a Director of Corporate Strategy at Intel’s business division fka Altera Corp. where he led the formation of a strategic investment program. Earlier in his career, Gopi spent several years in key positions in technology research and development and has co-authored more than 30 patents.
Gopi has an M.B.A. from INSEAD, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology in India.
